Deployment Model Protects Customer Data Using Secure, Distributed Architecture
CMDB 360 is deployed by an MSP for their customers using a "Satellite" cloud (or on-premise) deployment. The Satellite resides within a customer's "cloud or datacenter" - typically a cloud tenancy such as an OCI Tenancy/Compartment or AWS VPC. The Satellite securely communicates with the "Base Station" on-demand using a restricted, direct REST API interface in order to provide the MSP visibility into the customer's cloud environment.
By using this distributed model, customer cloud environment and asset data is never saved on disk outside of the protected cloud environment. When the MSP needs access to customer asset details, the secure REST API connection streams data back to the MSP's Base Station CMDB 360...but only as long as the user is accessing the records.
Fully Supports Integrations With Public Clouds & ITSM Ticketing Systems
CMDB 360 supports MSPs who manage customers in all major public clouds -- including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Customers may have assets distributed in multi-clouds or on-premise in a private cloud and one or more public clouds ("hybrid cloud scenario").
CMDB 360 provides built-in integration capabilities to leading ITSM ticketing systems so help desk tickets related to business services and assets can be tracked within the CMDB. Standard ITSM ticket types such as Incidents, Service Requests, Changes, and Problems are regularly synchronized from your ITSM system into CMDB 360. Any tickets related to business services or assets are automatically associated and displayed.
CMDB 360 also provides a host of ticket trend dashboards for business services and assets to show trends for Incidents, Service Requests, Changes and Problems as they relate to your CMDB assets.
